We wanted a concours that felt like being invited somewhere — not admitted to something. Fifty automobiles at most, gathered at Cross Creek Ranch under the sycamores, with the canyon roads that got them here just over the ridge.
Three days: a welcome evening at the Four Seasons, two rallies through the Santa Monica Mountains, a progressive table crawl through Malibu's best kitchens, and a beachfront farewell at Paradise Cove. Come for the cars. Stay for the coast.
Thirty to fifty invited automobiles on the lawn — historic racing cars, coachbuilt classics, modern hypercars and the occasional concept. Around them, the restaurants and retailers of Cross Creek become tasting rooms for the afternoon.
